Despite having a well planned dinner menu during the week there are some nights where I just don't feel like making what's on the "list". I had one of those nights recently and wanted to make chowder, not having a single clam in sight, canned or otherwise, I decided to give this recipe a go. The salmon turned out to be the perfect substitute, the same great flavors that I've grown to love in New England Clam Chowder with a twist.
