When I was expecting my youngest, I had the same breakfast everyday for about six months straight. One fried egg, a half of a grapefruit, and a cup of tea. I thought the grapefruit was just a pregnancy thing and expected to give it up after my daughter was born but I was wrong. The only reason why I'm not still eating grapefruit is because the colder weather is upon us and that means Oatmeal. However, when I stumbled upon this recipe I immediately thought I can still have my grapefruit. Although this recipe is a little decadent for every day it is a nice change of pace on those days when Oatmeal just won't do. The combination of flavors are just right and while I would not have thought of adding Cardamon - it works.
