Wow! A wonderful take on the classic Italian sausage and peppers. This recipe adds a bit more heat and additional vegetables to up the flavor. Do not forget the bread because you will need it to get the very last bite of this taste sensation. A crisp green salad with cooling citrus vinaigrette rounds out a flavor packed meal. This recipe is so good that although it says it serves 8, if you work at it 2 people can put a really big dent in it! Trust me on this! Be sure to remember to use latex or rubber gloves while working with the serrano and habanero chiles and to keep your hands away from your eyes. If you do not own a cast iron skillet, buy one. It will be worth it if all you ever cook in it is this recipe.
